Customers booking vacations starting September 19, 2022 will continue to have the option to purchase Sunwing’s Worry Free plan for just $49, offering one change to their vacation package or canceling it entirely up to three days prior to departure. The new Worry Free Plus plan is an enhanced coverage option for $99 that allows customers to make one change, including the ability to reschedule their package up to seven days before departure or cancel their vacation package up to three hours before departure.
For added travel security, vacationers can purchase Manulife Global Travel Insurance + Worry Free or Manulife Global Travel Insurance + Worry Free Plus plans starting at $99 and $149, respectively. With these plans, customers enjoy the same benefits as Sunwing’s Worry Free cover options, plus emergency medical cover, fully vaccinated passenger quarantine cover, unlimited travel interruption cover after departure, baggage loss, damage and delay, flight and travel accident insurance. .
Worry Free Refunds* are paid as Sunwing Travel Vouchers when purchased within 48 hours of booking. Note that holidaymakers who purchased Worry Free before September 19, 2022 to travel from this date will not have their insurance cover changed but will be automatically upgraded to Worry Free Plus. No action is required from our customers.
Sunwing is offering an additional option for all Canadians this summer for its Manulife Pandemic Travel Plan, with up to $4 per day of emergency medical coverage and quarantine expenses for travelers and fully vaccinated cruise visitors. .
