(CNN) – The low-cost airline has won the opportunity to expand its operations at the congested New York airport – complaining that it is closing down the main US Air Force spirit and its peers.

The United States Department of Transportation says it will accept 16 hours of landing at New York’s Liberty International Airport.

The capacity of the airport, according to the Federal Aviation Administration, is arriving at 79 per hour or preparing departures.

JetBlue Airways and Alaska Airlines were competitors for some or all of the venues.

Spirit Spokesman Eric Hoffmeier said, “We are thrilled to see this process completed, and we are promoting the competition and offering affordable travel options for visitors to the New York Metropolitan area. CNN

According to the Bureau of Transport Statistics, Newark Airport has the worst cancellation rate at any major airport.

Unity, Spirit and others have been fighting over who is to blame and how federal authorities should handle the situation.

The United States uses New York as a key hub, and there it dominates, consuming – according to broken numbers – 70% of the run time.

United recently announced plans to cancel 50 flights a day this summer to ease pressure on the airport, but plans to return to full schedule. The announcement does not require United to leave any New York locations.

‘Crisis on EWR’

According to federal data, JetBlue is the second largest carrier with 11 percent of New York passengers. The Spirit currently holds about 7% of the passengers.

Spill said it has increased flights in and out of New York, but said it was using areas that had stopped using international airlines at the time of the outbreak.

United said in a recent statement that international service providers were returning, and that Spirit and Jetblu were “creating a crisis for EWR.” [Newark] And customers, especially United customers, are carrying the frustrations and costs of careless negligence of all other activities at the airport.

The Department of Transportation said it would like to hear more information about the delays, cancellations and customer frustrations.

CNN contacted United on Tuesday afternoon but did not receive a response until 6:30 p.m.
