Roya St. Clair is set to join the Texas Tech coaching staff.

Texas Tech is expected to hire Roya St. Clair Sources confirmed as vice coach Extra inning softball on friday.

St. Clair spent the past three seasons on the staff at Washington University in St. Louis, leading the Bears program to the NCAA Tournament and posting 50 wins during her tenure. In the year She was part of the WashU staff that was named the conference’s Coach of the Year in 2022.

Prior to her time at Washu, St. Clair spent time on the coaching staffs at Miami of Ohio, Rutgers, Illinois-Chicago and Memphis. Her highlights as an assistant coach include conference regular season titles at Miami of Ohio in 2019 and Illinois-Chicago in 2016.

The St. Clair, Michigan graduate played professionally in the United States and Italy following her collegiate career.

St. Clair’s hiring includes a group of coaches who are first-year head coaches Craig SnyderHe hired earlier Paige Cassady As an assistant coach and Morgan Klaevemann As a volunteer assistant earlier in the summer.
