A pair of PTC freshman Panthers stole the show at the 2023 Georgia Student Technology Tournament (GaSTC).
Peachtree City Elementary has a pair of 1st place winners. Anika Patkar won Device Development for Grade 3/4 Division, and Sakshaat Sawhney won Mobile Apps for Grade 5/6.
Among other local students, Aiden Foxx from Flat Rock Middle finished 2nd in the 7th/8th grade category in Voice Production. Priyanshi Mutreja from Booth Middle placed 2nd in Instrumental Improvisation in Grade 7/8. Aadi Vaidya from McIntosh High placed 2nd in Instrumental Improvisation in the 9th/10th grade class. Von Kerren and Aston Pearce from Rising Star Middle placed 2nd in the programming challenge in the 7th/8th grade class.
Gabriel Gaines and Will Henderson from Peoples Elementary placed 3rd in 3D Modeling in the 3/4th grade division. Siddhant Nahar from People’s Primary stood 3rd in Animation in class 5/6. Max Spurlock from Sarah Harp Minter Elementary placed 3rd in 5th/6th grade Internet Applications. Sri Vishaka Santlinathan from Peachtree City Primary stood 3rd in Robotics Class 5/6. Logan Walters, Luke Walters and Brady Bowers from Star Mill Heights placed 3rd in the 11/12th grade programming challenge.
GaSTC is a national technology competition where students from grades 3-12 compete in various technology categories and aims to make students leaders in the digital age.
