Texas Tech and UT Arlington are set to square off for the first time since 2017 in a two-game midweek series March 14-15. However, the Red Raiders will host the Mavericks at Rip Griffin Park for the first time since 2013.
Coverage will be provided via Big 12 Now on ESPN+. Chris Sylvester will be on the mic for play-by-play action, while former Red Raider baseball player Mike Gustafson will provide analysis for both games. A three-game sweep over Iowa helped the Hawkeyes jump from No. 18 to No. 10 in the RPI. Losing two of the three to the Red Raiders. Going forward
The two midweek games against UTA will serve as the Red Raiders’ final two non-conference games before they open the Big 12 at home Friday-Sunday against Oklahoma State. The Red Raiders and Cowboys are two of three teams ranked in the conference’s top 25 this week with respective 14-3 records. OSU has one game before traveling to Lubbock, March 14 at home against Dallas Baptist.
