Collaborate with DCEO to ensure local business owners receive recovery funds
SPRINGFIELD, IL-(Effingham Radio)- State Sen. Chapin Rose (R-Mahomet) is working to help local businesses get recovery money through a state donation program to help those hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Rose is partnering with the Illinois Department of Business and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) to host a Getting Back to Business webinar on Wednesday, May 3 at 10:30 am.. To assist businesses with the application process and to answer any questions related to eligibility. DCEO representatives will be available to provide information and guide business owners.
“Our small businesses are the backbone of our local economy,” Rose said. “I want to make sure that eligible businesses are aware of these grant opportunities and can participate.”
The Back to Business Program’s new round of grants is available to provide $175 million to eligible restaurants, hotels and creative arts organizations.
To participate in the webinar, registration is required at RSVP@sgop.ilga.gov. Entrants must include their name and business name, address and phone number. When you RSVP, participants will receive a link to the online webinar.
