Westmoreland Walk board members and supporters are passionate about two things, fighting breast cancer – and fashion.
The two seemingly inseparable interests came together for the organization’s anniversary Passionately pink fashion showon April 22 at Westmoreland County Community College in Hempfield.
Guests were treated to the latest in warm weather fashions from six area dressmakers: The Trendy Bunny Studio and MB Bride in Greensburg; and Betty Ligonier, Onyx and Ivory Boutique, Post and Railway Men’s Store and Sixpence Song, all in Ligonier.
From a round of golf and a casual lunch date to a night out at the dance club or a fancy wedding, every occasion is covered.
Before the runway, guests enjoyed a chicken and pasta salad lunch and entered drawings for a variety of baskets — including one that offered moonshine, chocolates and ballroom dance lessons.
