– Raji Subramanian, an engineering lead who previously worked at Yahoo and Amazon, has been named chief technology officer at real estate giant Opendoor.
Suramania co-founded Seattle real estate startup Pro.com, which was acquired by Opendoor last year. She was recently a stage leader at Opendoor.
Opendoor’s current CTO and co-founder, Ian Wong, will transition to a technical advisor position to the CEO.
Subramania was a former member of Amazon’s Marketplace and Amazon Web Services teams and led teams in Amazon’s Kindle team and Yahoo Finance.
Opendoor has enabled over 200,000 customer transactions and now operates in over 50 markets. It was one of the first to use the iBuyer model, which provides the certainty and speed of an all-cash delivery to pay home sellers. In the year Founded in 2014, Opendoor went public in 2020 and reported revenue of $8 billion in 2021, up from $2.6 billion last year.
– Communications veteran Linda Mills, most recently at Blue Origin, has joined Clorox as chief communications officer.
Mills previously held vice president roles at Boeing, Starbucks and Wagner Edstrom (now known as WE). She joined Seattle Area Space Research in 2020 and was Vice President of Communications.
