In a statement, Nordstrom’s women’s designer fashion and editorial director, Ricky DeSol, noted how the retailer intended to “resonate the power of collections centered around the idea of ​​power dressing.” For Nordstrom, that can translate to bold fits and oversized sizes. In De Sole’s view, it’s refreshing to lean into clothing that makes you ready to take on the world after spending so much time at home.

The campaign was photographed by Sean Thomas and styled by Tony Goodman. It is the first campaign with editorial and fashion direction from D’Soul.
