In recent years, a tense situation in the Democratic Party has led to a shift away from the private economy. That is evident in the Biden administration’s economic management, and partly because some of its officials have experience in private business.
The committee, co-authored by Stephen Moore and John Decker, is the subject of a report released Wednesday to promote prosperity. The couple studied the work experience of 68 senior executives who shape the economy – from President Biden and Treasury Secretary Janet Alan to the White House Special Advisers on Economic Policy.
“The average business experience of bidders is only 2.4 years,” the authors found. Any new 25-year-old on Wall Street has closed more personal hours than most senior Washington officials. 62 percent said: “They have no business experience. In contrast, the authors say that the average Donald Trump cabinet minister has 13 years of experience in the private sector.
It is important to get acquainted with the business, especially since President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have spent their lives legally or politically. However, the authors found that the official nature of the Biden economy was dominated by legal (20), political and governmental (21), and academic or policy-making skills (12). The main business experience is Venture Capital or Investment (Five).
There are different situations. Commercial Secretary Gina Raymond was a successful capitalist before entering the government, and Interior Minister Deb Haland worked at a tribal casino in New Mexico.
However, it is worth asking that Biden’s policies and their effects reflect a lack of basic understanding of how a business operates. An example is the Department of Labor’s efforts to classify millions of contractors as evidence that many workers prefer to be independent.
Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra lacks experience in health care. Transport Secretary Pete Boutigig was an inexperienced mayor and administrative consultant in the supply chain or extensive transportation network in the United States. Deputy Treasury Secretary Wali Adeyemo spent most of his career in politics and government.
Profit, payroll, and competitiveness seem to be a virtue among today’s promoters. But that is not a virtue when the modern government has the power to control and punish private business. Presidents are free to appoint whomever they want, but the consequences of business ignorance in this administration speak for themselves.
