Linkburg, Va. — The No. 21 Virginia Tech Hokies responded with a 5-5 tie in the sixth inning to secure a 7-5 victory over the Flames on Wednesday.

Hot man Lyndsey Green (9-4) picked up the win for Virginia Tech (36-17) from the bullpen. The right-hander went three innings, giving up two runs, zero earned, two hits and four walks. Emma Lemley He started for the Hokies, going four innings and giving up three runs on four hits.
