Dauphinet

It’s like browsing an art gallery through Daffinet’s collection, with each garment an artistic celebration of rarely seen materials. Some looks are elegant celebrations of nature, like cherry blossom-embellished yellow pants, while others take a more casual approach to everyday materials, such as a 1940s-style undone leather dress with a post insert. The kitchen table is on display, with bags made from French pastries and a show-stopping ivory dresser made of over 400 real eggshells. Celebrating what remains, the Dauphinet collection is an interesting commentary on the beauty that permeates our daily lives. Alice Tekotsky

Alice + Olivia

Alice + Olivia stays true to the brand’s DNA with a rainbow-worthy color palette from candy apple green to navy blue. This season, the brand offers a selection of mommy and me outfits. The brand’s designer, Stacey Bendet, understands that her consumers are entering motherhood. Now, she is ready to dress their daughters, the next generation of consumers. Bender is on a roll, and she’s setting up her brand to stay that way for generations to come. There was a contrast between jewel-toned cocktail dresses and edgy denim looks with feminine pieces such as crystal silhouettes. Christopher Fraser

An only child

The only child of Maxwell Osbourne was a versatile mix of looks from streetwear to high street. Osborne was inspired by summer nights and was keen to design a collection that resonated with a wide age range. His opening look, a gold satin capelet draped dress with gold satin wide leg trousers, set the tone of opulence at the event. This was heard in everything from satin pintuck dresses to medal print scarves. The line may have only launched last fall, but the rave reviews after its finale are proof that it has staying power.
