Next to the Greek island are Kanazawa in Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Botswana, ancient quarry roads in Peru, Uzbekistan, Oman and Corvocado National Park in Costa Rica.

According to NZ Herald research, between the post-pandemic and climate change, 89% of Australians would choose sustainable travel for their next holiday over other options.

“For 2022, the total number of air and boat arrivals in Naxos from May to September increased by 8.1% compared to 2019 and more than 30% compared to 2021,” said the Deputy Mayor of Tourism, Municipality of Naxos and Small Cyclades Vangelis Katras regarding the new difference.

“We are listening to the changes in the international travel industry and trying to contribute to the extension of the season and expand our narrative with alternative tourism and nature activities,” he added.
