High school students and seniors from the National Charity League Inc. San Digito Chapter celebrated with their families and friends at a senior recognition ceremony and fashion show on Sunday, May 1 at the US Grant Hotel in downtown San Diego.

This co-ed event, a collaboration between the Sophomore Class of 2024 and the Senior Class of 2022, used the theme “Out of the Woods.” The evening began with Patronus Jennifer Tankerley introducing the Tiktokers, the senior girls, and recognizing the successful completion of six years of NCL’s philanthropic, cultural and leadership activities. The elderly were accompanied by their fathers and dressed in white, symbolizing new beginnings and fresh opportunities. NCL, Inc. San Dieguito is proud to honor the following seniors who have contributed more than 4,600 hours of charitable service during their six years as TikTokers: Aubrey Conway, Molly Curran, Cassidy Dugdale, Amelia Gilkey, Lindsay Hole, Alina Qureshi, Faith Lam, Gabriella Lanetta, Grace Lofaro, Allison Lin, Skylar Marshall, Cynthia Meyers, Regan Neudorf, Anna Nichols, Sophia Remneck, Lauren Roddis, Emory Rodriguez, Ava Sargent, Avery Steele, and Vanessa Yen.

Following the recognition ceremony, the Class of 2024 made an appearance at Fashion Valley from Nordstrom. After months of training and practice, 28 high school TikTokers walked the runway to model three different designer outfits in front of an audience of 375. The preparation and experience of participating in a fashion show helps these young women develop a sense of self-confidence and poise, as well as their leadership and public appearance skills.

NCL, Inc. San Dieguito currently has 260 members and provides hands-on volunteer services to 30 charities in the community. Members are women and their daughters in grades 7-12. In this community service, NCL, Inc. It develops socially responsible community leaders and strengthens the mother-woman relationship. The traditional six-year master’s program also includes leadership development and cultural activities.
