With arms full of flowers, beautiful necklaces, cuffs and heavy bracelets, spring’s traditional jewelry, New York Fashion Week added a must-wear trend to jewelry: Men sport pearls as they walk the runway.

Rabbo said he expects jumbo pearls and long earrings to be a trend this year. Pearls can be big without breaking the bank, especially if you see fresh water as an option. He also thinks pearl styles—his brand and others like Mikimoto’s worn at Jacob’s shows—are perfect for everything from dressy clothes for big events to men with “torn clothes the next day.”
