Loyola appoints Barry Rose as Business Leader of the Year – Newsroom

Barry F. Rosen, chairman and CEO of Gordon Fenblatt LLC Law School of Loyola University, Maryland School of Sales and Management, has been named Business Leader of the Year for 2022. The award honors business executives who have demonstrated Loyola Jesus’ commitment to community and service under the leadership of their organization.

Loyola celebrates Rosen on Thursday, November 17, at the Baltimore Marriott beach in Baltimore, east of Harbor.

In addition to leading Gordon Fineblatt, Rosen leads a team of 60 lawyers, a full-service health care organization. Rosen’s practice focuses on health care, anti-trust counseling and litigation, computer hardware and software acquisition, and government finance.

His work includes the creation, consolidation and acquisition of hospitals and hospital systems, the establishment of surgical centers, the establishment of joint operations between hospitals and doctors, and the evaluation and certification of interest. Rose provided doctors, dentists, hospitals, trade unions, nursing homes, home health agencies, insurance companies, and medical equipment manufacturers.

Among his civic duties, Rosen is chairman of the board of directors of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. His ability and leadership played a key role in reaching the BSO 2019-2020 contract with the musicians and the new five-year collective bargaining agreement – directly with key stakeholders. He also serves on regional health commissions and is the chair of the sponsorship board of Loyola Vendor School, Sinai Hospital and Lifebridge Health.
