Logistics startup Hackle gets seed funding from Pescafresh, Ellara India

Bengaluru-based logistics and distribution network startup Hackl has secured $1.25 million from UK-based Elara India Opportunity Fund and D2C seafood and meat brand Pescafresh. India’s Angle Network and Kalapina Capital participated in the round (IAN).

Following the funding, it will oversee PescaFresh’s last-mile distribution, inventory and fulfillment centers. More than 8,000 independent independent supermarkets (SMT) and general trade (GT) stores are served by the company.

Hackl is a new omnichannel fulfillment and distribution company launched in 2022 by Deepu Chandran, Jayaram Kasi, Siby Mathew, Suraj Valimbe and Bhargav Bhamidipati.

“Our investment in Hackle is in line with our goal of partnering with industry experts. The seafood and meat business is tough, and a strong supply chain game is essential. Apart from managing the online end of Hackle, offline FMCG distribution,” said Sangram Sawant, founder of Pescafresh. The platform is focused on distribution for modern and comprehensive business.

In April, Pescafresh raised $2 million in pre-Series A1 financing from Elara India Opportunities Fund, which the company will use for global development, technology interventions and strategic acquisitions.
