The state is in phase 4 of its reopening plan, but must enter the so-called Bridge phase before moving on to the fifth and final phase, when all businesses are open, non-vulnerable people can return to the jobs and most activities can be resumed with current health guidelines.

Officials said 55% of residents in the state over the age of 16 had received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine. They added that 79% of people over the age of 65 had received their first dose, which was above the 70% threshold required by the state to move to the Bridge phase.
