Families with toddlers, or others looking for more of a challenge, will also enjoy the Colchuck Lake Trail and the Eighth Lake Trail.

Shelter River Farm

Offering a hands-on educational ranch experience with many rescue animals, River Rescue Ranch is fun for the whole family. During the one-hour tour, participants will meet the ranch’s three largest horses, a 35-inch mini pony named Willie, and an alpaca. Guests can pet fluffy bunnies, rub pork belly, hold chickens and feed and admire a quart of goats.

Set for October 28–30 at the Snowy Owl Theater on the Icicle Creek Campus, this three-day film festival celebrates award-winning films documenting the natural world from shore to sea across dozens of conservation projects.
