Kroger Annual Rock your beauty fashion show It is also sending a message that all bodies are beautiful and raising money for a good cause.
The fashion show will be held on Wednesday March 8th from 6-10pm at the Memorial Hall in Over-the-Rhine. Kroger says it aims to celebrate International Women’s Day; Promote body confidence, self-love and positivity and show how beautiful all women are. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Women, a local charity that helps prevent and support survivors of gender-based violence.
Guest speakers at Shake your beauty Include Colleen Lindholz, president of Kroger Health, and Christine Shrimplin, CEO of Women’s Aid. Dance students also perform for students from the School of Creative and Performing Arts.
Doors open at 6pm for cocktails, silent auction and shopping with local, women-owned businesses. Lindholz and Shrimplin will speak at 1:30 p.m., and the fashion show will begin at 8 p.m.
In a press release, Kroger says 2022. Shake your beauty The show sold out the Woodward Theater and raised $12,000 for Women’s Aid. More than 300 tickets have been sold for the 2023 show, and Kroger said it is increasing its diversity model presence from 20 to 43 women. It will also host the presence of six to 10 local, women-owned businesses this year.
