Kevin Costner’s Otio travel app has joined JetBlue’s in-flight lineup.

Otio, the travel companion mobile app founded by Kevin Costner, announced this week a new partnership with low-cost airline JetBlue that will see Otio content added to its in-flight entertainment library.

With the event, JetBlue passengers on select flights will be able to access Otio’s exclusive audio content on their AVANT seat-back screens filled with stories and insights about 29 of the carrier’s US destinations.

In the year Launched in 2020, Otio was originally created to accompany road travelers as they drive to discover America’s regions, enhancing their experiences by providing location-based information about the history and culture of their local area.

The app’s founder, Academy Award-winning actor, director and filmmaker Kevin Costner, has lent his most recognizable voice to the 10,000-plus stories that now make up Otio’s content library. Other famous Otio narrators include multi-award winning actor John Lithgow and former NBA player Phil Jackson, among others.

Otio ranks among the five top-grossing apps in the Apple App Store and even won the 2022 Webi Award for Best Travel App. Thanks to this innovative travel-technology platform, it uses GPS-based geo-location capabilities to drive US users to the next level. Stories about nearby towns, landmarks, points of interest and more.

Autio is currently only available for iPhones and Apple devices running iOS 13.0 or later and can be downloaded from the App Store. With a free account, users can get five free picks, while paid subscriptions ($36 per year) get unlimited access to the entire collection of audio stories.
