London – Blue blood.

Britain’s royal family gathered at Windsor Castle for the first Easter Sunday since the death of Queen Elizabeth II and a month before the accession of King Charles III.

The organization was united in royal blue, with the King, Queen Consort Camilla and Wales wearing shades to show their dominance.

Kate Middleton wears a Catherine Walker coat with angled shoulders, a velvet collar, and a mid-shin blue hood. She unveiled the coat at last year’s Commonwealth Day service.

Prince William and Prince George both wore navy suits with the young prince wearing a blue tie; Princess Charlotte wore a navy coat with blue bows and ribbons in her hair, and Prince Louis wore a navy blazer and tie with a blue shirt and shorts.

The King and Queen wore the same shade of royal blue as they led their families into St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

Sartorially, the Prince and Princess of Wales are “raising the standard.” If you look back on their lifestyle as a couple, for too long they were seen as too sloppy, too down-to-earth and ordinary. “I think what we’ve seen a little bit in recent months is that they look more serious as they mean business,” said Bethan Holt, author of “The Queen: 70 Years of Elegant Style” and “The Duchess of Cambridge.” Decades of Modern Royal Style.

Since the Queen’s passing in September, the Princess of Wales’ duties and responsibilities have increased with Prince William, the heir to the throne.

They want to be seen as compassionate change-makers, advocates for British charities and people, and strong parents to their three children.
