San Francisco District Court Judge William Orrick on Monday ordered a new trial of a former Tesla employee.
Owen Diaz, a former Tesla factory in Fremont, California, refused to accept $ 15 million in damages from Judge William Orrick. The judges awarded $ 137 million in prize money, and the judge dismissed the award as unconditional and excessive.
Judges awarded Owen $ 6.9 million in damages and $ 130 million in damages.
Announcing Owen’s $ 15 million offer last week, his lawyers criticized Judge Orric for unjustified the Owen Diaz award and for violating his rights.
Owen Diaz, who worked as an elevator at the Tesla factory a year ago, was subjected to racial and cultural abuse by supervisors and colleagues. They deliberately used racist words and actions to injure Owen and to damage the swastika in the factory.

Diaz accused the company of failing to respond to allegations of racism and fulfilling its responsibilities as an employer.
Both sides are scheduled for July 12 to decide on the new trial. There is no official confirmation of the date of the trial. Tesla has not yet issued any official statement.
Many employment advocates believe that a new trial could hurt Diaz’s chances of getting good compensation and even earn less than $ 15 million.
Other issues with Tesla
Similarly, Melvin Berry, a former Tesla employee, received compensation from Tesla Motors last August. Berry Teslan has been accused of not responding to complaints from senior officials about being called n-word. Tesla also said it had taken no action against workers who posted Nazi swastikas and other graffiti at the Fremont factory.
At the end of the arbitral tribunal, Tesla awarded Melvin Berry $ 1.02 million in damages.
Tesla and CEO Elon Musk have been embroiled in a series of lawsuits in recent months, with victims claiming billions of dollars in damages.
In another case, Tesla investor Solomon Chaw accused the company of tolerating a toxic work culture. He did not take any disciplinary action against the victims, such as Chaw.
The lawsuit was filed on June 16 by Tesla Motors CEO and the entire board of directors. Chaw argued that the management’s failure to act on racism had damaged the company’s reputation and caused financial losses.
