Josh Jackson to lead SAIC’s defense and civil sector military business

Science Applications International Corporation has appointed Josh Jackson as senior vice president of the company’s military business unit.

In this role, Jackson is responsible for driving strategy, business development and program excellence across SAIC’s portfolio of solutions and services for US Army customers.

“Josh’s passion for solving complex mission challenges for our customers, using new technologies in smart and unique ways, will continue to serve SAIC and our customers well,” said SAIC Defense and Civil Sector President Bob Genter.

Jackson reports to Genter in his new role.

“I am confident Josh will drive the positive progress we have seen across our Army portfolio, aligning with our strategy to advance our systems integration efforts and drive operational efficiencies across our IT modernization portfolio.”

Jackson joined SAIC in 2002 as a program manager, followed by division manager, chief engineer and operations manager, before advancing to business unit leadership. He has led the Navy portfolio for the past three years. He is also a founding member of the SAIC Inclusion and Diversity Council and executive sponsor of the SAIC Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Business Resource Group.
