NEW YORK (AP) — Combat veteran and Fox Nation host Johnny Joey Jones opened up in June about serving with the Marine Corps in Iraq and Afghanistan and his friendships.
Fox News Books, a publishing imprint of Fox News Media, announced Sunday that Jones’ “Unending Battle Bonds” will be released on June 27.
In the year Jones, who served eight years with the Marines, was a bomb technician before a deadly explosion in Afghanistan in 2010 – he stepped on an IED (incendiary explosive device) – cost him both his legs.
“People have been asking me for years to write a book about ‘my story,'” Jones said in a statement released Sunday by Fox Books. “However, I always knew that the most important part of my story was the amazing one. A group of people and fighters that are a part of my life. Each is inspiring and has its own heroic story.
