Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck held their second wedding ceremony on Saturday, August 20, 2008 at Affleck’s Georgia home in Riseborough. Lopez, 53, tapped Ralph Lauren for her immaculate wedding gown, which featured ruched cap sleeves, an open back, and a large ruffled train that swept down the aisle behind her. The mermaid style silhouette is finished with a 20-foot veil that drapes from the crown of her head and highlights her curvaceous back, all the better to show off her earrings.
Affleck, 50, wore an ivory tuxedo jacket over a crisp white shirt that matched Lopez’s intricate, almost green bouquet. His look was completed with black trousers and patent loafers accented with a black bow tie.
The rest of the wedding party are Lopez’s 14-year-old twins Max and Emme, and Affleck’s daughter Violet, 16. Seraphina, 13; and Samuel, 10. The five children are seen dressed in white.
In the year Lopez, who made her memorable appearance at the 2021 Met Gala with Ralph Lauren, chose Zuhair Murad for the intimate ceremony in Las Vegas on July 16, later changing into an Alexander McQueen gown in the temple — a dress she saved. The 2004 romantic comedy “Jersey Girl” co-starred with Affleck.
Now, with three different bridal looks under her belt, we can look forward to photos of the Ralph Lauren number, which was selected in collaboration with Lopez’s longtime stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Hein.
