Georgia Tech closes out its final season on Sunday by recognizing Neria Hermosa, Bianca Jackson and Cameron Swartz. The Yellow Jackets will look to get back to winning ways and close out the regular season with a win. GT is coming off a hard-fought loss at No. 10 Notre Dame on Thursday. Despite holding the Fighting Irish scoreless for three minutes and opening with an 8-0 run, the Jackets were unable to control Notre Dame in the loss.
Virginia Tech is riding a seven-game winning streak into Sunday’s contest, last falling at Duke on June 26. Most recently, Elizabeth Keatley hit a buzzer-beater to lift the Hokies over North Carolina, 61-59. VT is 7-3 on the road this season, including a 5-3 league mark. The Hokies are led by Keithley, who is averaging 18.4 points per double-double and 10.7 rebounds per game.
Georgia Tech leads the all-time series over Virginia Tech 12-8 but dropped the last season’s meeting in Blacksburg. Four Yellow Jackets finished in double figures, but the hot-shooting Hokies took the win. GT has won six of the last nine meetings and leads the series in Atlanta, 6-2.
