Independent RC rig start-up Tribe Tech has raised another £2 million

Tribe Technology Group Ltd., a market-leading developer and independent manufacturer of drilling and sampling technology, has recently announced that it has completed a £2 million ($2.5 million) funding round with a number of leading technology investment firms.

The privately held company’s advanced technology and intellectual property, combined with its diverse product portfolio and business pipeline, “make Tribe Tech an exciting investment opportunity, as evidenced by the potential of these new investors and the volume of funding raised,” the statement said.

Tribe Tech Managing Director Charlie King commented: “As we approach the delivery of our first unmanned circulation drilling rig later this year, Tribe Tech continues to be a leader in the mining and metals industry. The world needs a new supply of key metals. Our technology provides a solution when it’s important to bring a large volume of goods into a fast-changing world where efficiency and security are paramount.
