The US Embassy has issued a travel warning for Tijuana and Rosarito, Baja California, kidnappings, injuries and deaths.
The July 4 warning warns of possible clashes between criminal organizations and Mexican security forces in Baja California.
“U.S. citizens should expect Mexican law enforcement to increase in those areas.
The U.S. Department of State’s Baja California travel notice has moved up to 3rd, and U.S. tourists are being told to reconsider travel due to crime and kidnapping.
