The Kansas Bluegrass Association is bringing it. Winterfest bluegrass festival He is back in his 33rd year. It kicks off this Friday at 2pm at the Wichita Marriott and continues through Saturday with hourly bluegrass concerts, workshops and jam sessions. More information at kansasbluegrass.org.
Fat Tuesday is February 21st and Central Standard Brewing is throwing a party! of Mardi Gras celebration It runs from 3 to 10 p.m., with desserts from The Black Fig Bakery and PeeWee + Sweet’s Bakehouse serving muffullet sandwiches and smoky chicken gumbo from 5 p.m. until sold out. In the year Kicking off in 2021, the ICT Fashion Tour is a series of fashion events in Wichita that highlight local fashion designers. They have a fundraising dinner on February 25 at Odd Fellows Hall Gourmet Fashion: Expectations from the Fool. Billed as a multi-sensory event where fashion meets food, courses and cocktails, it’s inspired by the runway looks of local designer Sydney Lennox.
