Gina Gabbard has returned to the Ovation Travel Group as Vice President of Business Development.
OvationNetwork is a new brand under the Ovation Travel Group umbrella. Ovation Travel Group is owned by American Express Global Business Travel.
“Ovation’s Independent Advisor (IA) business is the most valuable part of AmEx GBT,” executive vice president Sunil Mahtani said in a statement. “To prepare for the future, we’re launching a new brand — OvationNetwork — as one word. Our goal is to establish the new brand in the marketplace and continue to grow the IA business.”

Gabbard previously spent two years with Ovation, but in 2020 took on the role of chief sales officer for Lindblad Expeditions. Her 20-year industry career has been split between supplier and agency roles, working with companies such as Marriott, MLT Vacations and Tzell Travel Group.
In her new role, Gabbard will once again oversee OvationNetwork’s East Coast consultants and partners, as well as the relationship with Virtuoso. She reports to Mahtani.
In an email to advisers and associates, Mahtani called Gabbard “one of your greatest champions.”
Gabbard said in the release: “I’m so proud of what we’ve done with OvationNetwork for the first time and its stellar independent consultants and associates, I really feel like I’m coming home. space, as well as working with OvationNetwork’s primary team to serve the needs of our mentors so we can all grow together.
