One of Georgia Tech’s top priorities this season has been to accelerate the passing of one of the worst things in the ACC last season. After receiving offers from Memphis Transfers Maurice Joseph Jr. and Wyoming Transfer Solomon Byrd, both yellow cards seemed to do well as they were both talented players in their programs.
However, both players decided to break their promise and now neither of them will come to play for Georgia Tech. Georgia Tech have been scrambling to find a solution to last season’s loss of the two best players in the transfer market.
The solution was for the UCLA transition Christian Burkhaltter.
Christian Burkhalter
Christian Burkhalter
Burhalter is a former three-star recruit from Alabama and is wanted by many other programs. His size and athletics have always been an influential player in the 6-5 230 LBS outside the box but he has not been able to get on the field for the Bruins.
So can Burkhalter add anything to the Georgia Tech passing speed? Hard to say. He has the talent to be influential but he has no game experience and is a young player.
I expect Burkhalter’s passing this season to be fast paced, but it could be 2023 or 2024 before he gets a serious start in the ACC. But it is important to follow him because he is talented and can cover it all.
