High school football action in Georgia this weekend came to a conclusion with some big games on Saturday and Georgia Tech had its guys in action. We’ve recapped results from yesterday’s Friday games, now it’s time to break down how yesterday’s games fared.
- Tight end Justin Reid and linebacker Ashton Heflin were active for Newnan, but they lost a tough game to Sandy Creek, 38-27. Sandy Creek is one of the top teams in the state of Georgia and Yellow Jackets linebacker target Marcellius Pulliam also plays for them.
- Linebacker Kamal Bonner committed and Colquitt County cruised to a 35-0 victory in Deerfield Beach, FL on Saturday.
- Wide receiver Zion Taylor and high school football tight end Norcross lost their game to Brookwood 28-24. Brookwood is one of the top teams in the state this season.
- Defensive end Zacharias Keith and Douglas County beat Lithia Springs 52-13.
