Toronto, July 14, 2022 /CNW/ – Following the success of the inaugural 2021 Friday Harbor Fashion Collective series, Friday Harbor announces the return of its signature summer event highlight. Canada Top fashion talent.
Set on the shores of stunning Lake Simcoe, the Pier will be transformed into an open-air fashion runway showcasing designers and brands curated by the Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards (CAFA).
The fashion collection series will run over two weekends; August 12Th to the August 14Th And From August 19 to August 21St Live fashion shows every Saturday at 7:00 in the afternoon. Weekend programming includes live music and entertainment and a pop-up retail market featuring apparel, accessories and lifestyle products.
In the year When we hosted our first Fashion Collective series at Friday Harbor in Summer 2021, we knew we were onto something magical. Creating a platform for Canadian designers, models, retailers and brands to showcase their talent was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. “We are excited to partner with CAFA to host this year’s guests and make our vibrant destination accessible to residents, the local community and beyond,” says Hani Rustom, CEO of Friday Harbor.
The Fashion Collective series is open to the public with a complimentary program and advanced ticket options including preferred airplane fashion show seating and an after party at Friday Harbor Beach Club’s waterfront restaurant. Friday Harbor visitors can enjoy the resort’s signature attractions. Nature Preserve, The Nest Golf Course, Marina, and a collection of restaurants and retailers on the Promenade.
