Founders who apply for the TC Early Stage Pitch Deck Teardown will be considered for the Startup Battleground Competition at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco this September.

Ginny Miller, 1 Sharp Ventures
Ginny oversees venture investment and platform strategies for 1Sharpe Ventures (1SV). Prior to 1SV, Genie led Jamestown Ventures, a $12 billion real estate private equity firm. After starting her career in product design, she worked on real estate technology initiatives at Apple, Fifth Wall Ventures, and Harvard University. Ginny received an MBA from Harvard Business School and studied engineering at Dartmouth.
Heather Widman, Construction Ventures
As a partner at Construction Ventures, Heather Widman leads the firm’s investment activities in the real estate and real estate tech community. She brings 15+ years of experience advising portfolio companies on go-to-market and product strategy. She is active in the ecosystem at organizations including CREtech, MITdesignX, and AllRaise, and serves on PropTech’s Women’s Advisory Committee.
Neesha A. Tambe, TechCrunch
Similar to domestic VC, Nesha A. Tambe recruits, vets and trains startup founders from around the world like Startup Battlefield – TechCrunch’s global startup competition. She has worked on TC startup programs in Berlin, San Francisco, Latin America, the Middle East, North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa, and enjoys introducing products and programs to new markets both domestically and internationally. Nisha studied international security and sustainability from Georgetown University and De Anza College. Nisha is a Global Shaper of the World Economic Forum.
