noIt’s many a fashionista’s dream to be on the table (or on the catwalk, if you will) during New York Fashion Week, the annual designer extravaganza. Most of us are fascinated not only by the latest fashions on display, but also by what fashionistas and influencers wear.
With that in mind, let’s take a look at this amazing brunch that was hosted Vogue and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
Setting the stage for Fashion Week, the inaugural Vogue Vanguard Breakfast was attended by a collection of influencers, tastemakers and curators in fashion, politics and entertainment. And no, they are wearing different looks. From marabou feathers to leather, sweaters to floral dresses.
The Marie Antoinette-inspired breakfast, created by Four Seasons chefs from across the country, served as the first event in a series of Vogue World Events celebrating the magazine’s remarkable 130-year history.
Co-hosts were Jessica Rose; Vogue Senior Manager Experiences, and Casey Fremont, Executive Director, Art Production Fund. of Vogue The team includes Shenel Bakucuch, fashion editor/stylist for international publications and Conçetta Ciarlo, event manager.
For this poignant gathering, a room at the Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown was lined with a long table laden with artful sweet and savory dishes and banks of lush greenery. The menu includes croquemboche, petit gateaux, fruit tarts, Linzer cookies, layered cakes, sweet tartlets, cupcakes, scones and a variety of chocolates.
