LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Fashion designer Judd Connelly Zimmerman, founder and creator of the eponymous women’s lifestyle brand Judd Connelly, will host the 32nd annual Bolo Bash reception and luncheon in October. After two years, the event will return to its traditional format.
This year’s luncheon, presented by Dillard’s, is Wednesday, Oct. 12, from 11 a.m. to noon at Westwind, 7318 Winsong Drive in North Little Rock. It is set to feature a fashion show and discussion hosted by Zimmerman. Entertainment tonight Host Kevin Frazier and Greg Hatcher’s presentation of the inaugural Mission Authority Award.
The event will include a menu prepared by locally acclaimed chef Donnie Ferneau, a silent auction with a wide selection of merchandise from Dillard’s, and eight international and domestic cruises.
A reception with Zimmerman, sponsored by Roller Funeral Home, is planned for Tuesday, Oct. 11, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., officiating at the home of Greg and Lee Hatcher.
Raised in upstate New York, Zimmerman attended the Fashion Institute of Fashion in New York City. After two decades of working with the most respected names in the fashion industry and raising a family, Zimmerman launched her own brand. Known for its bold prints and effortless style, the Judd Connelly collection is now available in more than 350 specialty stores nationwide and Dillard’s stores in the Southeast.
Frazier, the host of this year’s luncheon, has interviewed some of Hollywood’s biggest stars since joining. Entertainment tonight In the year As a co-host in 2014. He has won five Emmy Awards and hosted numerous shows and events, including Emmy-nominated Game Changers with Kevin Frazier.
Proceeds from this year’s Bolo Bash Luncheon will go toward renovating and expanding Baptist Health’s Maternal and Infant NICUs, including the NICU, and strengthening the health care system’s capacity to care for more women and children in Arkansas.
Bolo Bash was first introduced in 2010. The event was founded by Margaret Price and the esteemed Frank D. White with a country/western theme – which inspired the name Bolo Bash. The dinner has since become a lunch-only event that hosts many notable speakers.
