Vermont Business Magazine Destination Explorer, the latest tool from Stowe-based Entopia, is launching this week as a new software program for destination marketing organizations (DMOs), convention and visitor bureaus (CVBs) and lodging providers to collectively and closely monitor. The tool integrates how various economic and booking-related patterns influence guest decision-making and bookings. Users can examine the impact of weather and snowfall, consumer confidence, holidays, school vacations or special events on visitor demand for booking destination vacations. Armed with that additional intelligence, asset managers are better equipped and informed to make proactive operational decisions on issues such as pricing, staffing and value-added incentives.

Individual properties enable new devices in a destination to explore, understand and measure their performance within themselves, the destination as a whole and the larger destination travel market.
