If you missed entertainment legend Robert Ray at last week’s sold-out Theater Costumes concert, you’re still in luck.
Mr. Ray, who is marking 50 years in show business, has an open weekend presence at Campagnolo’s Restaurant & Bar in Midtown.
A former Broadway performer – especially in the 1980s A revival of Oklahoma in 1979 and a tour in 1984 – and winner of two NYC Cabaret Awards, Mr. Ray’s resume includes credits at the Alliance Theatre, the Spoleto Festival, the Highland Playhouse in North Carolina, directing and producing the Fox Theatre’s 75th anniversary production, and New Year’s Eve at Peach Drop. presenting on
In his spectacular one-night-only show at Theater Costumes – backed by eight orchestras and seven great singers – Mr. Ray showed why the original Palmetto, GA, Broadway kid is still knocking them down the streets. I consider myself blessed to be there.
