Extra congratulations are in order for Love Island winner Ekin-su Kulkuloglu, as she has just signed what is reported to be LI’s biggest fashion deal yet. Some might have expected Eekin-soo to go with fast fashion brands like PrettyLittleThing, but she’s going to be the face of Oh Polly, a brand worth more than £1million. (Yes, that’s it. a lot of money.)
O’Poly focuses on going out, and these are sold at a slightly higher price point than most fast fashion brands. Fans of the brand can tell that Ekin-soo wears a lot of O’Poly in the villa – she wore 27 pieces, in fact. (Other contestants also wore O’Poly, with Danica Taylor and Tasha Gorey also wearing several pieces from the brand.)
A source told The Sun: ‘After talking to all the major fashion brands, Ekin-soo wanted to work with a brand that aligned with her sustainability values and decided not to sign to a fast fashion brand. She is the most in-demand Love Island star.’
It’s safe to say that Eakin-soo and her partner David are the winning Love Island contestants with 64% of the votes in a row. There are also rumors that Eakin-soo and David will have their own reality show. (Please, we simply need a couple more on our TV screens.)
The clothing deals and sponsorship deals on offer for Ekin-Su and David will significantly boost the £25,000 prize money they both receive for winning the series. In fact, David says he wants to spend the prize money at once, taking a trip to New York with Eakin and David’s moms.
And while Ekin-su may be the most popular, she’s not the only star being offered big money deals in this series, as Gemma Owen is reportedly close to £1 million for PrettyLittleThing.
