The Department of Defense (DOD), which oversees the management of US military agencies, has awarded a $24 million contract to security technology company BlueHalo to rapidly deploy Titan anti-drone systems and provide effective protection to troops and assets.
In an agreement with the DoD, Bluehalo will offer several components of the Titan anti-drone system, which provides situational awareness and protection against enemy UAVs for both military and non-combatant users, which can be configured in five minutes. The Titan is enhanced with artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities to neutralize invasive or threatening craft around designated airspace with its radio frequency-based tactics.
