Lubbock, Texas – Behind a strong defensive effort that included four players, the Texas Tech Lady Raiders reached double figures in a wire-to-wire 68-45 victory over Mississippi Valley State at United Supermarkets Arena.

MVSU responded with back-to-back 3-pointers to make it 47-27 with 3:05 to play and scored 10 of its final 14 points to cut Tech’s lead to 51-31 after 30 minutes.
Tech led by as few as 19 points in the fourth quarter (51-32, 9:44) as the Lady Raiders cruised to a 68-45 victory.
