Old Sky is the next point-and-click from Wadejit Eye Games. After the release of Dave Gilbert Unvowed, anonymously created an old sky for play. The designer later considered his options for creative distribution PC player (Opens in new tab), He thought his previous work had been shaken. So after a brief look at the timeline and a reasonable wave of focus, he took the idea and followed the adventure of Old Sky star Fia Quinn and was excited to create a full game.
Ever since I was cast into the Old Sky show, the agent of time has shaped Quinn’s personality. She is self-confident, humorous in her humorous tone, and very tired of her administration (or brass). Despite her unusual work, her tone is known to almost all of her old friends and is always a good start for points and clicks. Especially when I was a girl like Grim Fandego Mani Kaleva.
Probably a factor as to why they’re doing so poorly. Quinn has a conversation instead of complaining – an interesting change from most point-and-clicks.
At Old Skies Fia it travels to different seasons to take care of some unusual wealthy individuals. Time travel is now a commodity for the rich to travel back and forth and that person pays money to save the life of a friend or family member, even if the impact on history is small. In 2024, I began my journey with Quinn at a New York construction site. Her client, Dr. Joe Anderson, is a brilliant scientist responsible for the advancement of medical technology to advance the average human lifespan of more than a hundred years. . So you can say that the impact on human beings is very serious.
Anderson’s mission is simple. Take the scientist to a local diner and return it with a piece. Easy. Or if Anderson has no hidden motivation in his mind and misses the back of the table, leave the bill and risk the time travel that may come your way. I’m not sure which one is cruel.
The display of Old Skies impressed me deeply. In just over an hour, I felt that I fully understood Fiia Quinn’s personality, her relationship with her company and her co-worker Nozo, and finally what was at stake as a time agent. As one remembers the young adult’s appetite for food, the easy task to begin with is to end up on the roof and be an unethical moral decision.
That is the question. Do you speak the truth even if it hurts someone, or do you just leave it at that? Is it better to lie or to let someone know the truth at the last minute? You may not feel good about Fia Quinn or yourself, but these kinds of questions show how painful the hour journey is, especially for those who need to keep to the schedule.
For those time travel puzzles, well, this show only shows us a few logical puzzles, but the riddles that Gilbert said earlier will get a little bit of a waking moment in future missions. Do you know that someone has to go to you to do his best? Goodbye, take the time, and then put the banana peel right there for the next time. You got the idea.
I always love point-and-click because they give me some of the best puzzles and characters in the game. Although the Old Skies show had a bit of a twist for the test, I was impressed by the gameplay. Demonstrated a clear voice and text that clearly reflected the personality of the delegates.
A young woman appears in a show, but you know her fate as a traveler. She is cunning and clever and is only a few years away from death. It hurts, you know her for five minutes and you are already grieving over the death of this wonderful woman. But when she is there and you are talking to her, she enjoys talking to you and you enjoy it.
Dr. Joe Anderson is also a complex character. You know he got sick very quickly, and he died at an early age, although he had the potential to prolong the life of his patients. It’s not fair and he wants or at least tells us at first to enjoy a fatty meal like he did in his teens. His true purpose is not to be a bad person or a bad person when exposed. True, he is morally upright, but the consequences can be disastrous. too bad. And much worse than the good that he is trying to accomplish. Again, it is not fair. He was a good man at heart and could rarely do any harm to anyone.
Although Old Skies do not have huge branch narratives that determine who lives or dies, it does have key decisions. Fia Quinn has to keep to the timeline no matter what. But I hope that one day it will break the company’s code and create a delicious mess. If there is no time machine, I guess we will wait to find out.
