Mercantile Highway has been in operation since September 2020 and is the driving force behind Rusty Drying. And because of the love they had for their first job, they decided to open another store.

Ward said: “If a new business is seen as a threat during a global epidemic, it would seem daunting to start a second business during a global epidemic.

Vana talks about the customer base and the feedback she received.

Vana said: “We’ve got a lot of guys come to the main street Mercantile and have them comment on how they wish they had more. “So after a lot of thought and after many reviews on our business plan, we decided to open a separate space for those who prefer more men’s products.”

Rusty’s Dry Goods – ‘Brother’s Place’

They bring “brother’s place” to the city, not “sister’s place.” The two are in front of the shop on Waterford Main Street. Items in the store and online include a variety of cosmetics, clothing, accessories, barware, games and more. You can turn to Rusty’s when you need a place to find items from men’s gifts and small businesses.

If you choose to visit in person, you can even run to Rusty for a shop dog in Maine Street Merchantant. Rusty was a boxing hunter who first worked with Vana in her shop and now continues to be an angry friend and face of this next business.
