Designer Christian Cowan is officially expanding his fashion calendar four times, starting with his first leisure collection. The designer has decided to present his collection at New York Fashion Week in the spring of 2023.

“For me, it was important that it’s an accurate reflection of who we are as a brand and where we’re going, something that I think is changing and what I’ve always wanted. Along with our shop, our office is downstairs; I meet and talk to clients almost every day. It’s good to have their perspective influence what I’ve done, everything is still wild, but also wearable,” the designer says of the new stretch Lurex signature mini star-shaped bra. – Padded to give extra coverage. About the collection Stretch Lurex and crystal “It’s also about reflecting light, but not just with sequins and crystal prints,” says chainmail patterns.

The collection was a strong continuation of Cowan’s bold signatures of day-dreaming pieces. For example, Cowan’s new signature party-glam came with bombastic high-waisted ballet hoop skirts (I wore denim too), skirts in teeny-tiny cropped tanks, fabulous ostrich feather coats, sparkly micro minis with a Y2K crop. Tops and chiffon blouses, and lots of colorful, playful party cocktail dresses and gowns.

“Everything in this collection I thought about how you can dance in it, sweat it – I want people to live in it – it’s very Euro girl Ibiza, New York,” he added in the walls of Wooster Street, a pink-colored storefront.
