Central Coast Track Center celebrated the one-year anniversary of its new Santa Maria facility on July 6. The anniversary marked a significant change in CCTC’s position as a long-term trucking service and purchasing destination. Providing quality service to motorhomes, school buses and more.
After the December 2018 purchase by California Truck Centers, one of the largest Freightliner and Western Star franchise dealers in California, two existing diesel businesses have been renamed Central Coast Truck Center and become part of a growing collection of full-service trucks in the state. .
The increasing business activity in various parts of the state and the potential growth of the industry in our area gave California Trucking Centers the motivation and motivation to expand the scope of the Santa Maria area and the reach of their services.
CCTC General Manager Gary Ruskauf said the new Santa Maria location, 1400 W. Stowell Road employs 47 people, but said the location is designed to allow for increased business.
“We built this building to grow. As business grows, we will continue to add to our staff,” Ruskauf said.
The new 40,000-square-foot Central Coast Truck Center facility opened in July 2021 and offers a wide range of services, including truck sales, new and used, with a fully staffed service department staffed by professionally trained technicians for everything from oil changes to engine changes.
Raskauf Although CCTC is a distributor for Freightliner and Western Star, the center also has parts for many other manufacturers.
“So we can do it all here. We are a full service distributor,” he said.
Providing superior service and support to the local trucking industry is a focus and passion for Raskauf and CCCC, but they also provide high quality service for recreational vehicles, commercial and some personal vehicles.
“School buses, mobile homes, over-the-road trucks, garbage trucks, there’s not a lot we don’t serve here,” Raskauf said.
While the sale and service of large long-haul trucks is now CCTC’s main focus, the 9-hectare site is fully equipped to allow the business to expand into new services and markets. One of the planned additions is truck rental and leasing services for local businesses. According to Raskauf, the rental service allows farms to add the necessary shipping and delivery trucks during the harvest.
That expansion will give new businesses in Santa Maria and the Central Coast access to the high-quality service Ruskauf feels they deserve, a service made possible by the Central Coast Truck Center staff.
“I like to support my team,” he said.
Raskauf said CCTC’s doors are open to everyone, and if you’re curious about the services offered, stop by the center to tour the facility and learn about what they do.
