Pop culture seems to be taking some cues from an unlikely source: Barbie! From runways to an upcoming movie, celebrities everywhere are embracing “Barbiecore” fashion.
What is ‘Barbiecore’?
“Barbiecore” looks very beautiful: the fashion that the famous doll wears. Think hot pink, glitter, blonde locks and high heels. People love the fun, bright, statement-making style, and they’re not the only ones! Celebrities everywhere are following the trend, rocking bright pink on red carpets.

What kicked the style trend? Greta Gerwig, directed. lady bird And Little womenShe is now hard at work on her latest project: Barbie. The film stars Margot Robbie as the titular doll, along with Ryan Gosling as Kane, and a host of other big names including Will Ferrell, Issa Rae, America Ferrera and Simu Liu.
Photos were snapped of Robbie and Gosling filming on location in California, and fans passed out the couple’s neon rollerblading outfits, as well as a hot pink cowgirl outfit on Robbie.
Celebrities have embraced Barbiecore, including Megan Fox, Anne Hathaway and Florence Pugh.
The look of Barbie is flowing into real life, stars like Megan Fox, Anne Hathaway, Florence Pugh and Kim Kardashian have followed the trend. Fox recently rocked the red carpet in a pink mini dress, with matching hair, for the boyfriend machine Gun Kelly movie premiere.

In addition to their preview, the couple rocked some Barbie pink outfits for the after party. Fox wore a hot pink crop top and skirt, matching heels and bag. Kelly was covered in light pink from head to toe, wearing a sheer pink shirt and sparkly pink pants.
Kardashian is also getting into the trend. She recently posted a photo of herself on a pink satin bed decked out in Barbiecore pink from head to toe. Pugh tried her hand at style in a stunning hot pink chiffon gown.
Hathaway’s look can be very close to what Barbie wears. Fans around the world adored her sparkly, hot pink mini dress paired with a matching handbag and sky-high platform patent heels.
High fashion brand that dresses stars in Barbie style
Gerwig Barbie The movie may have sparked the street style version of Barbiecore, but a major fashion house deserves some recognition.
Valentino’s Fall 2022 collection is entirely devoted to hot pink — Pugh and Hathaway’s outfits were from the line.
