Canyon Media and Utah Tech University Athletics announced on Thursday that they have agreed a new five-year multimedia agreement, according to the press release.

From this fall and into the 2026-27 season, all Trailblazer football and men’s basketball games, including pre-match and post-game coverage, will be broadcast on Fox Sports South Utah (99.5 FM in St. George’s; 93.1 FM / 1400 AM. Cedar City ).

The agreement covers selected trailblazer athletic events during the year.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Utah Tech Athletics and providing air and online coverage for Southern Utah and TribeBlazer fans,” said Ben Lindsust, Canyon Media General Manager. “We think something special is happening at Utah Tech and we can’t wait to highlight the best teams, coaches and student-athletes.”

With full radio coverage, a 30-minute weekly coaching show will be broadcast at Fox Sports South Utah.

In addition, St. George’s News (www.stgeorgeutah.com) provides weekly coverage of Utah Tech Athletics, which features weekly Trailblazer Student-Athlete, Coach and Team Behavior Stories and Video Packages.

“This partnership will not only run a radio broadcast, but also run Trailblazer Athletics.” We look forward to building strong relationships with the media.

Trailblazers has 15 inter-athletics programs and has completed his second year in the NCAA Division I, as a competing member of the Western Athletics Conference.

Earlier, according to the St. George News, the WAC Board of Directors has voted for Uta Tech to participate in all conference championships, starting in the 2022-23 season.
