Shopify plans to launch two-day and next-day shipping services

As the two go hand in hand, Shopify and Deliver will work together to launch a new service called Shop Promise to offer consumers two-day and next-day delivery options.


Atlantic Canada’s creative players launched a new startup Atlantic brand at Startupfest

Start Atlantic is a new, Atlantic Canadian Opportunities Agency (ACOA) funded initiative. The brand brings together the four provinces of Atlantic Canada—Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia—under one roof.

All three of the $100,000 investment awards—Best of Fest, Women in Tech and Black Entrepreneur Award—were won by female founders. The Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) announced at the event that they matched each award to all winners.
