CAMDEN – There are many needs here in Midcoast Maine. Some people are on boats and like to see pictures of rowing, while others like to look for mushrooms in the forest.

July 13 store manager Sue Chesser said, “What we do is unique.

She said the shop’s customers are looking for something unusual, whether it’s a T-shirt or a hat that fits their needs and personality. She admits that the words “hip” and “groovy” certainly apply.

The business opened in Camden at its current location at 13 Mechanic St. in May 2021. It was previously in the city as a “pop-up” store (or shop-within-a-store) in Maine. The new location was a bookstore.

These shirts, baby clothes, hats, and other items are printed with Maine artwork that won’t bleed, crack, or chip like other water-based inks. They are made in 150 styles at the facility in Liberty, Maine, in Waldo County. There is also a Portland store.

The business is a worker-owned cooperative. The Camden store has about six employees. Liberty Graphics employs about 50 in the state.

Also features a selection of items from Maine artists.
